The Marvel movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which has many scenes recorded on campus and even a character that is a Simmons resident, was released on November 11th, 2022. To commemorate the intense MIT presence in such a popular movie, hackers decided to put up banners that said the iconic Wakandan chant Wakanda Forever on the facade of Building 7.
