Library Services: Computers and WiFi Access
Public computers and free WiFi are available at all Dallas Public Library locations.
Public Computers
Getting Started
- A library card or an Internet card is required to access the library's public access Internet computers.
- Library cards are free for City of Dallas residents and employees. Learn more.
- Internet cards are free and can be issued to anyone with a valid ID, regardless of local residency.
- Public computers have Microsoft Word, Excel Publisher and PowerPoint as well as Google Chrome and Internet Explorer.
Policies
- Computer sessions are limited to two per day.
- Computer users must agree to the Internet Acceptable Use Policy.
- Computers at Bookmarks and Youth Discovery Center are for children and teens only.
