The Border Center, which is maintained by the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences (NCMS), is one of the Compliance Assistance Centers developed with support from EPA's Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assistance (OECA). The Border Center Director is Lisa Stobierski (NCMS) and the EPA Program Manager is Matthew Cooke (EPA Compliance Policy Staff).

What's New!

EPA finalized changes to existing regulations regarding the export and import of hazardous wastes from and into the United States. The final rule will provide greater protection to human health and the environment by providing for increased transparency, data sharing and more efficient compliance monitoring for international shipments.
