An amazing luxury hotel which was made extra special by the hotel staff. The relaxation area was superb and the room was very clean and spacious. The bar area was really nice for a drink before heading out in London. The finer details within the room made us feel really special.

It was my third stay at this hotel, and I really enjoyed it again. Very clean (even if i noticed this time tiny bits of dust in the corners of the bedroom), great breakfast, friendly staff, nice room with big bathroom, good equipment (tea, coffee, safe, amenities... ).

We purchased tickets through a third party website, but the management at The Shard would not recognise our order, so we were refused entry. We hoped that we would get some assistance but, unfortunately after 3 weeks of backwards/forwards emails, we were still unable to gain access. This cost us just under 100 GBP which we simply could not afford. We would never go back to this attraction again.

Nothing will convince me that the primary design motif for this building was anything other than that when the inevitable London fog rolls in, then the illuminated peak of The Shard should look like nothing more or less than the Eye of Sauron glaring out across the Mordor hellscape. When this occurred to me, it amused me. Then it started getting creepy. Quit staring at me, Sauron!

We had this in our itinerary, however did not factor the weather in. The touring was listed at zero visibility, so we did not go up- however the view looking up from the bottom was pretty impressive. Will have to save for another visit!

Very nice apartment closed to many lines of underground, closed to The Shard and St.Paul Cathedral. Many possibilities for dinner and breakfast. Very nice staff.
Very close to Bourogh Market 10min by walk, the shard is also a foot step away… tower bridge at the next corner.
A good base to discover London.
Super market and bakery just around the corner.
Nice balcony and beds are very comfortable.
Two bathrooms no stress at all
