Bangkok never sleeps, or so you might think as you fly into Suvarnabhumi International Airport. From luxurious mega malls like MBK and Siam Discovery in Siam Square to the famous Khao San Road in the Banglamphu district, this hard working city is packed with commerce, fiery food and soothing temples.
Catch a boat up river on the Chao Phraya Express or discover different neighbourhoods on the blissfully air-conditioned BTS Skytrain. A taxi or exhilarating tuk-tuk ride is never far away from the big attractions, which include Chinatown, Jim Thompson House and the floating markets at Damnoen Saduak.
To step out of the frenetic energy of street food stalls, amulet markets and the sizzling temperatures, discover an oasis of calm in one of the many Buddhist temples. Be awed by the majesty of the Grand Palace and marvel at the world’s longest reclining Buddha at Wat Pho. While you’re there why not relax even more with a traditional Thai massage?
From the sky-scraping luxury hotels with world famous rooftop bars to a cheap hostel bed in the centre of town, Booking.com will help you explore all Bangkok has to offer.
Bangkok is worthwhile for many reasons. Cultural-historically, nature, the (friendly) people, the food, weather, affordable prices, etc.
We stayed a week and were really able to explore both the city and do two tours by bus outside into Thailand. Transportation is easy and I love how clean and quite well maintained many things are.
We'd love to stay longer to really get more immersed in the day-to-day life, enjoy nature more, cultural events, arts, etc. It certainly is a country to want to go back to.
A tip: check whether there are ceremonial reasons or things of that kind why the Great Palace might be closed half a day (it closed at 12 noon, while it normally closes at 4 pm). We missed it twice due to this reason.

There are lots of shopping malls where you can buy cheap clothing, hospitable people, traffic. It's better to be with a group for tourist sites and rent a car. There are a lot of hotels with cheaper prices but still in good condition. Within the cities are really crowded, beautiful flowers near palace temple, lots of fruit stalls. Overall, I had fun. Definitely, I'll go back.

I love Bangkok.
I love Bangkok. Been there 3x already within the year and hoping to get back pretty soon. The city never disappoints. From the usual local tourist spots to off beaten paths, Bangkok has a lot to offer. The food was great. In my last visit, I tried more Michelin rated food spots. I had the best tasting crab omelet, oyster omelet and pad thai to die for. I had a haul of good finds from thrift shops to luxury brands. For solo travelers, I highly recommend doing coffee shop hunting. They have awesome and instagram worthy coffee nooks all over the city.

We lived in Bangkok for 4 years, so we love the city and things to do. We spent two trips upcountry and one week in Japan on a 5 day Thai tour, played golf 6 times. The quality of golf courses are excellent. It is an all day affair since most golf courses are one hour drive out of Bangkok
Okay, so I did enjoy this hotel, however, I stayed here towards the end of my holidays and found that the quality of the hotel differed significantly from the standard that I had come to expect of hotels in Bangkok and Thailand in general. The good points were the outstanding roof side pool, the gym and the hospitality.
Also it was well located in terms of things to do, markets, Siam Paragon etc etc.
I like the location of 4m pratu nam hotel. Near to 7E, BTS Phaya Thai station, pratunam market, a lot of massage service shop and some mall. Just walking distance. Also, u can buy some souvenir at hotel. The staffs so helpful. They help me to booking taxi to transfer from hotel to airport. And allowed me to check in early. Will repeat stay here if i go to Bangkok again. Very recommended
Terrific location downtown Bangkok and within 2 minutes walk from airport link station that takes you direct to international airport. The manager (she) was VERY helpful as we’re all her staff. A gem of a hotel at an excellent value-for-money price. I’ll be back!
This hotel is very shady with many big trees. There is an escalator connecting to the electric train station. Traveling anywhere is very convenient. Friendly staff Better than many hotels in Bangkok at similar prices
