Dublin Castle is at the heart of the city's history and Trinity College holds the renowned Book of Kells, a beautifully illustrated manuscript from circa 800 AD. A nice city with plenty to see around. The well-guided tours are available, especially those for the Cliffs of Moher, Galway city, Cork, etc., as are the places within Dublin City such as the iconic Guinness Storehouse Experience, and other historical sites such as the Trinity College and the cathedrals.

A little crowded in summer, but a pretty city nonetheless.
A little crowded in summer, but a pretty city nonetheless. Found it a bit overwhelming at times with respect to the amount of people. A bit expensive as well. Very easy city to travel around in as a visitor. The downtown area is also very walkable as well.

Dublin was quite disappointing.
Dublin was quite disappointing. I had travelled there around 20 years ago and could hardly recognise the place. The city looked tired and some of the neighbourhoods felt quite rough. However the prices didn't reflect this, as it was very expensive

We are frequent visitors to Dublin.
We are frequent visitors to Dublin. This time we were there to see “ Wicked” at Bord Gais. This was our first experience at this particular venue and it didn’t disappoint. The venue is beautifully appointed, the location stunning and the show was magical. A great introduction to musical theatre for my granddaughter!

Dublin is a beautiful city.
Dublin is a beautiful city. Probably not as buzzing as some other major cities in Europe, but there is always something to do for everyone. Shall I say the city is alive in an almost perfect state? People are lovely and the artwork to see across the city is already worth the effort. Tiny bit of everything but still plenty enough to keep you amazed for days or a week if need be. Worth a visit for all citybreak chasers. Can be a bit pricey for the pocket, but hey, use your budgeting skills and enjoy the ride! :)
The location is absolutely perfect, close to Temple Bar and the City Centre. The hotel is classic looking inside, the room was a triple with 3 single beds and a large bathroom. Plenty of space for us. The huge bonus is the bar downstairs as it was one of the nicest we went to in Dublin and on the Sunday night we stayed they had live music which was fantastic. Overall a perfect place to stay for us and I wouldn't hesitate to go back.
