Me and my partner where welcomed by friendly bubble people at reception, the female manager deserves a 5* (didn’t catch her name) was helpful as we arrived a few hours early and has great customer service services all round, so polite and bubbly. The young bartender deserves a 5* also, he was so friendly had great customer service (also didn’t catch a name) couldn’t have been more happier/friendly and had great knowledge about bars.
The room was more than we could have expected. Nice big spacious rooms, the bed was huge and the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in a while 😂.
Breakfast there is plenty to choose from, cooked breakfast to pastry’s, fruit and much more.
Overall very happy with our visit and will definitely be back

Scotland’s largest city, Glasgow combines Victorian architecture and a vibrant arts scene. A former European City of Culture, it is home to many national organisations including the Scottish Ballet and the National Theatre of Scotland. The museums are also world class. Not to be missed are the futuristic-looking Glasgow Science Centre and the eclectic exhibits at the Kelvingrove.
Lined with Georgian buildings, George Square is the city’s focal point and the spot for Glasgow Hogmanay celebrations. Fanning out from here are streets housing venues for the city’s main love: music. From classical concerts to up-and-coming bands, every taste is catered for.
As host of the 2014 Commonwealth Games, Glasgow is also a city of sport. Scotland’s 2 most iconic football clubs - Celtic and Rangers - are based here, as is the national football stadium Hampden Park. The Scottish Football Museum is also an excellent walk through the beautiful game.
Last but not least is the shopping in Glasgow. Shopping centres cover everything from high street brands to international designers. So when you fly into Glasgow Airport, make sure you’ve left enough space in your bags!

Glasgow has changed alot. Many beggars on every street and being pestered everywhere you go. Shoplifting is rife in the city and anarchy prevails. George Square was lovely to sit and watch the world go by and council workers tried their best to keep it clean but in general people just do not care where they throw litter down. Sauchiehall Street is awful and with the roadworks it is even worse, Argyll Street is equally as bad. Not a great shopping experience. I feel very sad for Glasgow City Centre as i would think twice about going back there.

Weather can be unpredicable and change quickly so be prepared for rain
A good trip is to Pollock Park with a visit to the Burrell Collection. Objects well displayed and not too much to exhaust you. Everyone loves the Highland cattle and calves in the surrounding fields.
George Square is good for people watching, particularly on a Friday or Saturday night.

The hotel and the walk from the hotel to the hospital where I had to go for laser treatment on my face was dirty and unpleasant. The river looked lovely but apart from that what I saw of the city was run down and in need of a lot of renovation and work.
I loved it last time I went I was shocked and saddened this time at how much it had descended into disrepair

We loved our visit to Glasgow.
We loved our visit to Glasgow. The Glaswegians were so friendly and helpful!
We wanted to see a lot of Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s work and other artwork. The Kelvingrove museum and Hunterian art gallery and Mackintosh House were excellent.
We took the hop on hop off bus tour to the southern and western part of Glasgow and found this very interesting to find out more of the history.
We hopped off at Pollack park to see the Burrell collection which was also very interesting.
The staff - well, Nicky- was excellent. She was a great, friendly host and made us a lovely breakfast. The hotel is in a great location in the west end of Glasgow- just beside the botanic gardens (and loop and scoop- an amazing ice cream and churros place!) and close to the University too. Good bus and subway links to the city centre for shops and bus station. Room was good, and the newly refurbished bathroom was lovely. Very reasonable price for the quality and location :)
We visited for TRNSMT and the hotel were very well prepared and organized for the event - I was impressed. The location is excellent for City Centre / Glasgow Green and surrounding area's. Hotel was clean and comfy. I really couldn't fault anything. Would recommend and stay again.
Breakfast selection good, paid for separately, £19, expensive however, at YOHOTEL it is £10
Third stay in similar type of Glasgow city centre hotel this year, best yet.
Comfortable apartment. Really convenient for the city centre. Very good value for money especially given some of the hotel prices in Glasgow on the weekend we visited.
