Paris is a fantastic city with really friendly and polite people. None of the stereotypes about Parisians being rude or snobby are true at all--in fact, everyone we met went out of their way to be kind and helpful! As a family with young kids we LOVED the Jardin de Luxembourg. Kids also liked the paleontology museum and evolution gallery! My favorite restaurant (which was very kid-friendly) was Sacre Frenchy!

It's a great city to do a whirlwind tour!
It's a great city to do a whirlwind tour! Hop on the bus or choose a romantic dinner river cruise on the Seine to see all the iconic landmarks and the Eiffel Tower lit up in all its splendour. If you are in good shape and love walking, this is the best way to experience the flavour of Paris meandering down the little streets and stopping at the many Patisseries and Boulangeries for a croissant or some cheese and bread! Paris is beautiful no matter what time of year!

Beautiful Capital City with historical monuments of note. The Eiffel Tower, and the Moulin Rouge are historic sites of great value. It was an eventful visit. African foods and cuisines should be encouraged more. The transport system is top notch. You can move around easily with bolts, uber, taxi buses or train. When next I'm in in town , I intend to do a sea cruise in Marseille and also a boat ride of River Siene.Logistics - Scored 4.04.0

Eiffel Tower is over hyped and over expensive. Never visit that or buy tickets for that. Just take pics from the outside and the garden opposite where you have a better view. Food in Paris is shit compared to Marseille or Chamonix. If you have deep interest in Art and History visit the museums and must visit Versailles. Paris is a big goof up!

Paris is a lovely city - but very unwelcoming during the Olympics. Doubling the price of the metro ticket and 'forcing' us to pay for plastic cups during the games, where the cantines were badly stocked, is unacceptable for a city and country of this magnitude. I would discourage anyone to visit now.
