One thing to remember about Adelaide is that it is essentially a big country town, so if you are visiting on a Sunday expect that many places will either be closed or not open until 11am/midday! This includes the market, which is shut on Sundays and Mondays. The art gallery and museum are an interesting visit and can both be visited in few hours - a good way to get out of the cold!

The city centre is laid out in a grid pattern and extremely easy to navigate with numerous choices of food establishments. A beautiful city, lovely parks, well structured. Easy to find destinations. Beautiful region, with Hahndorf and Barossa Valley a must see experience. Love the churches and sandstone building. Definitely need more time next visit to take it all in. Spoiled for choice with food outlets. Amazing markets.
