Taylor and Yang Invited to NCAA Women's Individual Championships

(INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.) – Senior Danna Taylor and junior Sarah Yang and have been selected to play for the NCAA Division III Women's Individual Championships to be held at the Dwight Davis Memorial Tennis Center in St. Louis, Missouri, May 25-27. The championships are being hosted by Washington University in St. Louis.

Both Taylor and Yang were selected to the singles bracket, and each will be making their third appearance at the individual championships.

Taylor will enter play in the singles bracket of the championships with an overall mark of 19-9, including a 10-4 record at second singles for the Tartans. In 2019, Taylor advanced to the round of 16 at the championships, marking her best finish at the national event.

Yang has a singles record of 16-4 including a 13-2 mark in the first position this year. Last year, the junior had to withdraw from the national tournament, but in 2022 advanced to the round of 16 at the championships.

The bracket for the individual championships will be released on May 25 but not before 12:00 p.m. Eastern time.
