(NICHOLASVILLE, Ky.) - The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team finished its suspended second round of play on Thursday of the 2024 NCAA Division III Championship in Nicholasville, Kentucky, with a 299 and then carded a 294 in round three. The Tartans have a 54-hole score of 891 (298-299-294) and currently sit atop the leaderboard by two strokes heading into the final round on Friday. Following the second round, the field was cut to the top 15 teams and top six individuals not on one of those teams to compete in the final two rounds.

How it Happened:

  • Graduate student Alexis Sudjianto is currently tied atop the individual leaderboard in a field of 150 golfers. Sudjianto fired a round of three-under par 69 for round three and has a 54-hole score of one-under par 215 (71-75-69).
  • Junior Kaylin Yeoh fired a one-under par to close play Thursday and has a 228 (78-79-71) for the championships.
  • Freshmen Samantha Wang and Nikita Jadhav also have a 54-score of 228. Wang carded rounds of 76-72-80 and Jadhav 73-80-75.
  • Junior Sriya Mupparaju will enter play Friday with a 230 (78-73-79).

  • The final round of play is set for Friday with Mupparaju teeing off first for the Tartans at 9:40 a.m.
