UnFREEz for Windows

UnFREEz is an extremely fast Windows program which will automatically save any variety of pictures, as either separate JPG files or as part of a larger animated GIF file. It is designed to be highly functional for both uploading photos to the internet, as well as saving them for posterity, or just for fun and enjoyment. You can load either a large, full-sized (thumbnail) version of your favorite picture into UnFREEz and start saving it to your hard drive. If you only want to keep a small collection of photos around the house, simply save the UnFREEz file small enough to fit onto your desktop or some other small index card.

An extremely powerful feature of UnFREEz is that even if you lose unsaved data while editing a photo, it will be recreated for you, automatically. The software also includes a powerful photo editing tool which allows you to crop, resize and edit the image you have saved. As well as saving entire photos and animated GIF files, the program can also save photos in a different format, such as JPEG and PNG. There are many other advanced features that allow you to manipulate and modify photos including adjusting saturation, contrast, brightness, and red eye reduction. Some of the other unique features include setting the background color of your animated GIF image, as well as the colors and overall appearance of text, buttons, and other graphics on your animated GIF.

I was quite impressed with the overall speed and performance of UnFREEz. After opening the program for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it loaded quickly and easily. In addition to this, there was no need to install any additional software, and it was able to recognize and save many commonly used file formats such as TIFF, EPS, BMP, GIF, and JPG. In addition, the software works great when uploading files from several different cameras or sharing your own photos via e-mail. Overall, UnFREEz is an excellent solution for people who are holding onto their photos or gif files on their hard drives and want to free up some space by converting them to more compact file formats.
