Anatidaephobia for Windows

Anatidaephobia: The Search is a hidden object game. It was developed by Trembjo Games, and it has been released for the 2021 edition of Adobe Systems Creative Jam. It's been designed for the 2021 version of Windows, and as such it operates best with the operating system that came with Windows XP. Despite the funny name, it delivers very well on both the thriller and horror aspects. It is based on an actual search for a missing girl that took place in Norway several years ago. As a twist, the investigation that is undertaken involves finding a link between a series of murders and a series of clues that need to be uncovered in order to solve the case.

If you've played the first version of Anatidaephobia: The Search, then you'll know that this version adds some improvements that make the experience more interesting and challenging. In this game, you are to use a special camera to take pictures of objects in areas that are covered with moose hides. These moose hides are all marked with a star icon, which means that they are a potential location for a murder. To uncover more clues as to who killed the girl, you are to enter every area in detail, zoom in and out, and rotate the camera. Doing this will make all the hidden picture clues stand out more clearly.

Although this game is about goose-stepping phobias, it also tackles a much more serious type of fear - panic. The main character in the game, Jens, struggles with an abnormal phobia of ducks. Even though most people probably don't have such a fear, the fact that it's spelled using the word "dook" in the game means that it is very real to him. Because of this, players who experience fear through a phobia of ducks should be prepared for some pretty intense game play.
